Has Yamaha taken over the sport ATV market???
#1
Not trying to start a war as I have owned BOTH Honda AND Yamaha products and really like both, but I was just thinking........
In the high performance ATV market, Yamaha has got the Banshee, Raptor 700, and YFZ450.
Unless I am mistaken, the only Honda in competition with these high performance sport quads is the Honda 450.
Has Honda fallen asleep at the wheel??
What are your thoughts on this???
P.S.
I am also posting this in the Yamaha forum to get BOTH views on this subject.

The Banshee is in it's last year, so that leaves the 700 and YFZ.
Honda will always have their loyalists.
The 450R is a direct competitor for the YFZ and gives the 700R a run for it's money.
I'll stick with Honda.
Hey 2fun, I'll be at Horsfall from tomorrow until Wednesday. Heading to Cotatage Grove Walmart today.

You know what sells the most units??? Stuff like the little 250EX. Yamaha doesn't even have a quad in this class anymore, now that the Blaster is gone. Big hole in their lineup!
The Raptor 350 is no competition for quads like the 400EX or Z400, so.......another big hole in their lineup!

In my (limited) way of thinking, I was talking about the top dogs in the sport quad world. The 450s, 700s, and 2-strokes..
