Id clean ur carbs and air filter first. Seems like you might have water in there somewhere.

The ethanol that they are adding into the gas is re-acting with some carbs. It's a form of alchohol. You know how racers who run straight alchohol have to drain their carbs to keep them from gunking up because of the re-action with the alchohol if it sits too long? The same thing happened to both my brother's and buddy's yfz, but not my z. It has to do with the chemical compound of the components. Different alloys in the aluminum, and composition of the brass jets. They are going to have new jets machined of a different composition. PM me with your address and I'll mail you one, they won't do just 2 so they have to have at least 50 made. If they work out they will sell some to re-coup the cost. They want to have a few people try them and spread the word. If everything works out, they're going to market them.

I had a similar problem with my Kodiak and some others on the forum did also. Could there be a design issue here?

The fuel I used did not contian ethenol or did not state content that could have interferred with proper running.
