Make sure the bottom of the float assembly is parallel with the carb body when carb is held upside down. Also check for any splits, cracks in the overflow tube in the lower carb bowl that could cause the leaking also. When was the last time you had the valves adjusted?? The Predator has to have this done frequently since its a shim under bucket system. Valves can tighten up and cause the spitting, sputtering. I've even had em come in not running from too tight valves. OPT

You can adjust the small tang on the float up or down to where the float assy is level when held upside down. The clearance on the the valves have a specific range on the intake and exhaust. You need to get the clearance range and check with feeler gauge, most of the time valves are too tight! You have to have access to different adjustment shims or let a dealer do it! OPT

Maybe check to see if there is a o-ring on the seat of the float valve you need to remove the needle valve seat to check for it
