Nerf Bars
#1
What would be good nerf bars to get for my 2002 raptor 660? looked at standard ac nerfs but didnt really like how the nets were. the alba pro elite nerf bars look pretty good and are only 110 bucks. Are those any good? If not what other company makes good cheap nerfs?

The alba nerfs are pretty good, especially for what they cost. They're among the cheapest out there, and I never heard anything bad about them. Tusk also makes decent nerfs for cheap, but I would pick the alba between the two. Whatever you do, just don't buy steel nerfs, it's definitely worth the little extra $$$ to get alloy nerfs.

Check my page and you'll see p ics of how the DG nerf bars look on an 02 Raptor. They are cheap and functional. I had Graydon Proline's on my bike, but they bent the first day I had them. My friend bent them back and has used them since, but he rides about 3 times a year.
I like the look of the DG's better, I have banged these bars with many others in competition, and these so far have held up great. The netting attachment is also fantastic. The webbing has not budged in two years since the day I installed the bars.
You can also check into Pro Armor and look at AC's pro peg nerfs, which are by far the best design. These styles also incorporate an aluminum heel guard, and eliminate the flimsy stock plastic heel guards.
