If i added a complete aftermarket exhaust on my 07 trx 450r and ditched my hrc modifyed stock system would i notice any more power if so would i have to go to a larger main jet whats a good system ? i like the curtis sparks and the fat boy 4 all i have now is just the hrc kit and the airbox lid off ,,any help thanks

 

they both are great systems i think the sparks cost a little more but are about the same out come.

 

How do you like the 07 sofar I just got mine a few days ago and love it I got the one with the red frame I guess you can call is special edition...I was looking into the big gun exhaust the carbon fiber series but the db's were a little too much for around here I would go with the curtis sparks or trinity exhaust I don't think you will have to mess with the main jet but just check into it anyhow maybe one size up if anything.

 

It is sweet , red frame with black plastic and flames who would ever thought ,when i saw it i had to have it traded my 06 raptor 700 for it ,,the honda with the hrc kit is way quicker and faster than my old 700 and it had all the bolt ons ,i guess its the weight diff but the raptor had a small rev curve it was pretty flat but the honda revs and keeps reving and pulling wow i could not believe how smooth the engine is. iv heard guys say theres no replacement for displacement but that is bull ,big power does comes in small packages

 

yea I have a ds650 also and I traded my suzuki ozark in becuase I def outgrew it but I haven't really broken in the eninge to much but man the power is sick as long as you maintain the quad but I love the thing...yea I pulled up to the dealer undecided and once I saw the honda with the red frame I was like thats the one I want right there...What comes in the hrc kit I am not 100% but doesn't it come with a cam,encdap,and messes with the airbox correct? Once I get this thing fully paid off I am gonna trick it out like my ds650. Another system I was condisering was either lte(looney tuned) or the carbon prob from white brothers or even the hmf or the balance series or the ironman which I just found and get it in red that would look nasty.

couple of my buddies have esr pipe and another has a dasa pipe and my couzin has a rossier pipe......... in my opinion the dasa LOOKS the best but they all put out good power

 

Well in the hrc kit u get a cam modified box and diff exhaust tip... The best 450 exhaust i hav found are curtis sparks, hmf or the rossier they are all on top ruight now... with these mods ull have around 50-52 horse

 

I recently bought a '07 trx 450r special edition also.. i just got my yoshimura rs-7 pro com series all ti system... and k and n air filter all i have left to do is weave my nerf bars... and jet it... anyone have the same set up i dont' feel like spending hours jetting it i know how tedious it can be any help would be greatly appreciated
