It will depend on how much you weigh and if you were "overgeared" to start with.
Some manufactures overgear their machines by 15% to keep the engine from completely revving out thereby acting as a rev-limiter. If you further raise the gear ratio you may actually go slower.
On the other hand- theoretically speaking, given an unlimited amount of torque, the machine will have a higher top speed with a larger drive sprocket.
