no spark

Default no spark

i do nto know what happen my 250r was running fine i shut it off unpluged the cdi so i could paint the frame behind it then i pluged it back in and it would not start and i have no spark is the coil bad or the cdi
tanks for any help nick

If you painted the frame you're probably not getting a ground somewhere. Check all connections to ground and scrape the paint off there.

thats what i thought to but thats was not the problem because i cleaned all the places where it grounds to the frame after i paited it

Check to make sure that you did not pull any wires out of the plug to the cdi box. Clean the contacts too. Make sure you have everything wired up right.

thanks for the help it turns out one of the wire was under a roll of tape and it was not connectied fixed it and now she runs like a champ thanks for the help nick
