Does the sparky actully hurt your performance that much that you wouldnt just leave it in?

I was there just a few weeks ago. I have never run a sparky and I am probably at about 105 decebls. Just use your head and you will be fine. Keep the rpm down until you get out into the dunes.
When you see the cops sitting out there again - use your head - low rpm's - no eye contact - drive strait buy them - worked for me !!!

Hi I saw a Oregon post. MRDS650 is right. The other thing is they watch the trails to capgrounds and the beach. If you see a cop in open dunes, don't look at them and move out and you will be fine. Don't see many cops on quads anymore and the trucks are easy to avoid.

I dont believe you can get a solid answer to that ? just let me say that lots more riders get away with it than those who get a ticket. i would stay clear of the beach for sure if your illegal.

Thats not true anymore. I think they got there funding cut alot. Mostly trucks and SUVs now. Anyway the decibal level in the parking lot is different then the sand. They can only inforce the statewide sound level in the parking lot which is 99. Dont let these people scare you. The cops can barely keep up ticketing the realy serious offenders.
