Default Kazuma 110...Almost a year later..

Here was my initial post on our new KAzuma:

http://forums.atvconnection.com/mess...hreadid=477462

Well it will be a year on Xmas and our son is still riding just about daily. He rolled it once, low speed(crawling), not a big deal, but the fender snapped off like a twig. Stiff plastic just doesn't hold up to that real well.

Now we're looking to buy a 70-90cc model for our second boy. He's a bit younger, just 5, and smaller then Brenden was when we bought the 110.

Anyone have an opinion on the a 70-90cc quad.

Anyhow thanks to all in this forum who got us started right with the 110 Falcon. The loctite and oil changes really made this a sucess story.

Regards,
Scott

Thanks for the update! A lot of talk out there about how the newer generation of imports have better reliability, but it is nice to see someone that is willing to share an experience.

Glad to hear the Kazuma's working out good for you. It's great to finally hear a success story. We've been rinding our Falcon 150 for about 4 months now and it's been great. We keep up on the maintenance just like you should anything mechanical. When you do get a 70 or 90cc, I would love to hear how it works for you. My daughter is wanting to ride now too.

TruGritScott,

I have a Kazuma mini 90 Falcon (2005) that my 8-year-old daughter rides almost daily. She really gives the thing hell and it has held up perfectly! I do recommend , however, that you follow the advice of several of our fellow posters by applying loctite (I used Loctite 272 but only because I "borrowed" it from my place of employment) to just about anything that you won't be taking off or performing maintenance on.

Yea BigD....

I think that is part of the success with the 110...We did the oil and loctite and I bet those are the big 2. Also let some air out of the tires to smooth the ride. I bought spacers for the rear as the 2005 110 model sat really high. Overall to get some young ones feet wet with a quad, it was a great choice.

To me $400 for some of the battery quads is a bit much, for something that the kids would outgrow by 4 years old....And $2700 for a new Jap model seems overkill, unless we were planing on grooming them to be quad racers or something.

So the Kazuma is a nice deal for us folks....

Regards and be safe,
Scott
