Default 87 LT230s needs more speed to beat a Warrior. What can I do ?

I have a 87 LT230s it is in good shape and has a DG full system, uni filter, holes in airbox lid, and a twist throttle. Its pretty fast but my friends 01 yamaha warrior will beat me when its in 6th it does about 63 mph. What can I get to make my 230 burn him ? Please give me a list of things and the place to get them. Also what would a wiseco piston kit do for me ?

This is strictly my opinion here, but I wouldn't throw a penny into upping you little Zuk. While in the current era, the Warrior really isin't that powerful, you still have an uphill battle getting the 230 up to par. Yes, you might be able to do it with a big bore kit, High comp. piston, and an aggressive cam. IMHO, by the time you get done shelling out the dough, your buddy can upgrade his and still spank you. If you want to escalate the speed wars, do yourself a favor and buy a 400EX,Z400, Raptor, etc. and spank him that way.

Gearing it higher or getting bigger rear tires would be the cheapest way, but you'll loose bottom end.
