Sunl 90 hole in head and squeaking.
#1
Hello, I have a 4 month old 90 thats having a few issues, wondering if anyone else has had the same ones.
After putting the 90 up on stands to repair the cracked frame, I got it on the ground and started it. It was much louder than it was prior. I checked the exhaust bolts and they were fine. Couldn't figure it out at first.
Finally found it, on the left side of the motor, up on the head, under a fin is a hole the size of a nickel, maybe slightly larger. Pics to follow in a couple of days. Up where it'd be next to impossible to get something to do that kind of damage w/o removing the motor.
Squeaking - I've had a squeaking problem since day 1, I've squirted white lithium grease on every joint but no help. Once I started fixing the rear frame snaps, I saw that the motor is on a pivot, or at least a single bolt to hold it ot the frame. Is this supposed to be that way? I'm 99% that this is the culprit for squeaking.
thanks
