Anyone parting out a 2004 Sportsman 700? I need some components from the headlight pod. The used one I received as a Father's Day present had some poor craftsmanship in that department such that my headlight won't adjust, etc.

I need a top and bottom pod housing in "Sonic Blue", plus the hand and thumb warmer switches. I've been watching eBay but nothing of the proper year/part number has surfaced.

Thanks, I spoke with them this morning and they DO have a lot of parts, but mostly 2005-2006. Very few 2004 components left at all.

Anyone else have any ideas or sources for parts? Thanks!

 

Hi - I just crushed the POD on my SP, did you ever find a place to find your POD parts for your 2004.

I finally gave in and purchased new parts from World of Powersports or Bike Bandit, can't remember which. It's been fixed for a long time now.

I bought a new headlight at the same time, since the plexiglas had fogged somewhat.

 

Ouch...that's what I'm afraid of as well, but I'm just wondering how much I need a speedometer and the display [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
