whats the best but cheapest a arms available...i want +2 but am on a budget...however i want them to be good ones too....i seen an add for krypton super a arms...they say they are as good as other aftermarket but without the high price...they are only about 350....thats good...has anyone heard about these...

other questions...do you have to get brake lines with +2 a arms or is it basically just bolt them on?
one other question...after getting a arms first, i plan on saving up for aftermarket shocks, but is it ok to have stock shocks with +2 a arms for awhile? thanks for info...if you know of any answerrs or prices...let me know THANKS

Longer brake lines are required. As for the shocks, stock will work ,,but not recommended for any length of time.

nc400ex01,
Burgard a-arms are the way to go. They are $500 and that is in a nickel plated finish that with a little mother's polish looks just like chrome. I have +2's on my 400 and I ran stock shocks for awhile and I still run my stock brake lines. So you really don't need anything else but the a-arms. Although, shocks(especially) and brake lines will work that much more. I believe the cheaper Krypton a-arms don't come with tie rods which would increase the price about $100.

You do not have to replace your brake lines. I am running JD Performance +2s and they were $445 with adjustable camber, etc....

Brakelines are about $150... I needed new lines when I Put my RPM's on... As for the shocks ya you can keep them on but i would not recommend it if you are running MX... I broke my wrist recently cause the shock bottomed out....

Shoc Connection told me to stay away from the Krypton A-arms and they even sell them there! They said to not waste my money on them. They told me they brake easily.

The Krypton arms do not break easily as mentioned above...they have lasted at least 2 years on my banshee now with no Ill effects. As long as you keep checking the bushings and keep everything lubed up , they work just fine.
(Gene at shocconnection was a tremendous help and did not mention a thing about breaking)

They are fully adjustable...including castor and camber...But reaming of your existing spindles will be necessary.(well it was on the banshee)

You will have to use extended Brakes lines which run another $80 on top of the price of the arms.

My other banshee has lonstar arms...and to be honest....I have not noticed a difference between the two. (maybe a top pro would...but not me)

well i went to the pros today at Legacy ATV...they sponsor and ride lots of pro riders around the nation.....tt and mx...well legacy carries leager and houser/howser(sp.?) +2 and +3 a arms....they say all their pro riders use one or the other...so im getting the powder coated +2 houser ones for me ex...they said they are very strong, good waranty, look awesome, i dont have to get brake lines(stock ex's have enough sag), no new bushings or ball joints or rods....this set is 490.00 +tax with a arms, tie rods, ball joints, EVERYTHING....he said i just need to unbolt and bolt and screw the tie rods in and im ready to go.... dont you all think that sounds like a deal.... im saving up now for either works or tcs shocks...he said stock ones are fine for now but will wear out really fast with +2's.....
