need mod info for 06 scrammy
#1
I have had my srambler for about 2 weeks, and love it. Although, I would like to learn about different mods that can help with the performance that I believe this machine can put out.
I ride mainly wooded trails, whoops, and sand dunes. Lower end performance is more important to me than top end, but will probably end up upgrading both, so any info is appreciated.

theres alot of aftermarket companies that make parts for scramblers
heres a few sites for the main ones
HPD
HSP
Rick Ritter Cycle
to start out though i'd recommend an exhaust and you could also look into a clutch kit! i'm running 20 inch rear tires on my scrammy and that also helped with the bottom end performance!
plus just tires period can help you with power, the more traction the better
hope that helps, later

I just put a K&N filter and Hot Seat slip on pipe.... night and day sounds great more power if you dont change the head pipe you do not have to rejet atleast I didnt its a good start Hot Seat has alot of stuff for the SCRAMBLERS

The main improvement on the 500 is to get it clutched.By just changing the springs you can get a huge gain.Try a dalton black/white primary spring and either a Aaen blue or HPD violet secondary set at 2-2.This setup will work great with stock weights.
Next thing would be a better flowing air filter like a K&N w/outerwears,UNI of TwinFlow.
Now there is some gain from a slip on exhaust or complete system but not as much as the previous mods.
