ground clearance for 07 800 outty?

would some of you guys measure(on the flatest ground you can find) the ground clearance of your machines, because can-am claims 12 inches & someone on here said 9 to 10 inches. PLEASE help me out here thanks.

also do the guards on the inside of the rear wheels bother in the mud holes and in snow? just looks like something that would hurt ground clearance that can catch on something and rip them off. Just wondering from people who have ridden in all kinds of conditions thanks!

I think the clearances raidermike gave you were pretty typical.
Your question about why 9" in front and 12" in back is a tough one. CanAm/BRP have known for a year that they are false advertisers imo. Why take a know problem on the '06 Outys and pass it on to the 07's? Maybe it's a real touchy suspension issue. Doesn't seem to be a real touchy suspension issue for the guys who have done something about it though. I believe they passed the '06 problem on to '07 in order to keep the '06 guys from really coming down on them if they changed the design after saying for a year, 'we have no issue with ground clearance'.
BTW, the dealers all measure GC with nobody sitting on the quad. That's just more of the BRP/CanAm BS, and just shows they don't amount to much.
