Default how does outty compare to grizzly in mud & snow?

will the 800 outty keep up with the 700 grizzly in mud & snow or will it get hung up because of less ground clearance or is this even a problem at all? Also while i am at it how do they compare in a drag race? Thanks for any info.

no I don't have the can-am yet but i am working on it. right now i have a 700 prairie and a friend of mine has a 660 grizzly and when i am following him in mud or snow he can make it in 2 wheel drive and sometimes i get stuck in 4 wheel drive which is another issue because i have to put it in 4 wheel drive before i get near the mud hole otherwise if i go in 2 wheel drive and get stuck it does not like to go into 4 wheel where as the 660 will go in anytime he wants, so i also want to know about the 4 wheel drive engagement of the 07 800 outty does it work good like the grizzly or bad like the prairie. The outty is my first choice to buy but if you guys tell me bad stories of this machine than the grizzly might be my second choice, so any information is appreciated thanks!

well the outty has visco lock which tells the quad that tells the tire with the better grip and locks the other and transfers all the power to it the outty also has alot of new tech along with the grizzly both are nice quads and will perform well but I would only say don't get the griz since it is out for the first year and will need to get all the kinks out of the system but otherwise either is a great choice

thanks for the info, and does the outty go into 4 wheel drive once your stuck in a mud hole because my prairie if i get stuck and i push it into 4 wheel it does't want to fully lock in so it keeps kicking in and out while i am trying to get out of the mud hole and if i try to put it in 4 wheel when i am in reverse i could spin the wheels all day and that frigin thing will not go in so i want to make sure that the outty does not have the same problem as my prairie. thanks!
