My wife wants a utility atv.I need some opinions.I got a 2006 Yamaha Bruin 2x4.She wants to do some trail riding.Shewants to get a used one though. So what are some good suggestions on some atv's priced below $3000.Thats about what we would like to spend.I know it is not impoosible, but what brand is going to be good for her.She doesn't want a sport quad and 4x4 doesn't matter too much.

Look around for a Honda Recon or a Suzuki Ozark. Both top of the line 250 class 2wd utes. 2 year old models should be running in the 2,500 range.

i would say a machine that is about a 400. and well something with independent rear suspension is nice for the ride. i can't see where diff lock would be a necessity for your case. i know my mom has a 450 honda foreman and she likes it alot even though it is straight axle.

IMO a Wolverine would be an excellent choice. Rancher, Bruin, Outlander 400/330, Kodiak 400......I'm presuming since she rides your Bruin you're looking for an automatic? The Suzuki Vinson is a good option as well. Polaris has a Trailboss 330 and about a million other options in that size lol.
