Great! What approach did you take to handle tire fender rubbing and rubbing against the tie-rod ends? I had to have modifications to put on 26 inch mudbugs. rangerchet

chet, fortunately i didnt have too much rubbing at all..the tie rods were not a problem, the wheels are offset enough to allow about a 1/4 inch between the tie rod and tire..i have the spring spacers from polaris but they do rub a little bit on hard bumps..im going to trim the inside of the fender where the extension bolts on and ill gain about half an inch of space..if that doesnt stop the rubbing then im going to buy polaris heavy springs which are like 22 bucks a piece.dont want to lift it as i plan on getting the extended warranty for it

bowtiepu,
I bet those tires are gonna rub quite often. When I was running the 27" 589's they rubbed all the time with over 3" of lift. I also wound up ripping the flare off one of the front fenders. Now I am running 28" Outlaws. To stop the rubbing I modified the A-arms to move the tires forward 1.5" and run the Progressive adjustable spring kit with a 1" lift. Now the tires rarely rub.

well im not a betting man but i will agree that they will rub,how bad i dunno? i figure between cutting back the fender where it joins the mud flare there is a good half inch i can chop,as well i can move the floor board back a 1/4 to half an inch.if that doesnt work springs may be my next purchase but i wont pay 160 or a 170 for progressive springs..polaris heavy duty springs are cheap enough or i was thinking about adding an inch spacer to the strut/spring tower to help.that is if the other things i try dont work..i cant see where moving the wheel forward by modding the a arms will be needed, stock tires barely had an inch of clearance where these tires hit so im not that far off
