riding last week and my throttle stuck wide open i assume the cable broke because it want retact. i took the bolts out of the heat sheild but how do you get the one behind the carb.anyone else had this problem i need to know this so i can change the cable.( or someone tell me an easy way to change the throttle cable

Here is a link with the parts list of a carb. To replace the cable you need to pull the cover off the right side of the carb (#25). I think I had to pivot the carb a little to get at all of the screws.

 

thanks for the imput. after removing the breather from the carb, i was able to move the carb enough to get the bolt out of the heat sheild. after that i aws able to get to the cable thanks
