One pair of ds shocks is no differnt from another. I think i can safly say mine do NOT bottom out on big jumps...not unless they are huge huge jumps. They said in a mag awhile back that the ds's shocks are just as good as aftermarket shocks. Maybe your buddy just needs to tighten up the shock a bit. Stiffen it out...because i'm sure the ds (on its hardest setting) would be hard as all hell to bottom out!

hay im the buddy with the DS.at the time the shocks were only about 1/4 the way up.ive run them up to about 1/2 way up.Vision said he still bottomed them out but it wasnt as hard as before.then again he was jumping about 4-5 feet high(bottom of tires)and about 35-40 feet in lenght.so i mean they were certainly being put to the test.ive never bottomed them out myself but im just really getting into jumping.i would say 10-12 feet is probably my best.i also didnt want to make them too stiff because i didnt want to mess up the plush ride.besides i dont really jump that much and when i do i dont go THAT far.besides 1/2 was as far as i could go by hand.how far up do you guys have yours adjusted?
