im getting a yfz450f soon is there any major changes from 05-06-07? im trying to get a 06 but if they have leftover 05s cheap i might get it.Is it true if you break an atv in the winter it runs cooler.

 

yes there was a pretty drastis change to the motor, um, i think it was in 06 they revised the heads maybe and gave it a few extra ponies so yes the 06 has more power than the 05 other than that i havn't heard of any other changes.

 

Just a few small differences between 06 and 07. The 06 has over 80 changes from the 05 though, and that would be what I would get. 10cc bigger motor, better ergos, softer suspension and seat, and an easier chain adjustment system are the biggest improvements. I doubt any dealers have leftover 05's now anyway as the 07 models are out now.
