we will be staying in a house just off the trail into town from the north camp ground wed 10/25 thru 10/28 anyone else making the trip?

 

I'll be there along with a few friends. we're staying behind the oasis in spot 21. Stop on by, everyone is welcome. There is also a bunch of people who hang out mainly on Planet Sand who are also coming. We plan on doing some friendly headsup racing on Saturday. Should be enough people to actually break up into some classes.

There will be no lights, no staging, guard or any other beams, if we're lucky we'll have a consistant arm to come down and get us started[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] and the finish line will be whoever has the ***** to stay in it the longest. It will be STRICKLY for fun in the truest sense (and also maybe some jabs around the campfire that night[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] )

We will be up there the 19-22..We also rent a house up there...Off the trail..as it goes into town..the house is just west of the railroad tracks...has little shop out back...

 

my ten year old was riding my ds yesterday and can't wait to race out in the flats, little fart is quicker than i am in 300' by far, i guess a 100lbs less might be why?

 

Driver, I thought you were going the weekend before Halloween (27th, 28th, 29th)? Or am I confusing you with someone else?

 

No were going the 19-22..There are alot of forum members off here going too...Look in the dunes part of the fourm..there is a tread in there about it..

How late into winter can you ride there?

 

I believe they are open year round, but it will get mighty cold when you get into Nov, Dec, Jan.....
