2 of my friends got raptor 350s and they were wonderin what they could do to give them a lil more ba11s. i got on it and was ridin it and it felt very underpowered in 1st gear and underpowerd in 2nd gear. idk if cause im used to my 660 but i thought they would have some more power to them. i tryed wheelein with them and it takes some efford to get the front end up in first or 2nd, 3rd i didnt even bother tryin. we do alot of trail ridin, so dropin a tooth in the front wouldnt make much of a difference cause were in the woods more than out in the open, but im afriad if the do that there gonna be shiftin every 10 sec cause of how short the gears will be. what do u guys recomend

SLIP on stock sucks or remove the baffle that will help tons plus breaking it in helps if there brand new they feel alil weak to me mine feels like it got more power after some hours was put on it i have no problem bringing mine up in second gear theres been a few times were i was doing a dounut and when i straighten it out it just pop up and throw me off and there it sits on the grab bar i also went to a twelve tooth on front but yea going from a 660 to a 350 would seem weak but i think that comparing the raptor 350 to a warrior or blaster or 300ex or anything in its class it will out shine them and this is not me be biast because i have one ive just ridden them all and owned a blaster with a few mods it was fast but just didnt cut it at all on any hills it started off hard and ended up weak but yea tell them to try a 12 tooth and remove the baffle it doesnt hurt to try if they dont like it put it back in...

take the one bolt out the bottom get some vise grips and bite down and wiggle it out
it helps alot..I bet you like that 660 dont ya big azz diff between it and tha blaster lol theres times i wish i had just waited and saved up the extra grand and got the 660 but as of now im happy since ive done the few mods they made a huge diff in power i love it now but in stock form it was ok but i wasnt thrilled but it dont take a whole lot to make it moveeeeeee i had thought about selling it to get a yfz 450 or 660 but i cant do it im just gonna keep it and save up and get one or the other or maybe a banshee i been wanting a shee for years now...but as of now im happy and im going to keep the 350 in the stall for as long as she holds togather or otherwiseits a good quad. And i even thought about getting a blaster since ive started looking at some of the kits vitos sells maybe put a swing arm on it streach it out and some spacers on front make it a play quad they have decent power for a 200 if it wasnt for there small size it would be great..

well i would say.. slipon and 14 tooth front.. maybe drill some holes in the lid or cut it some..
i know it helped alot with my quad.. and wheelieing a warrior/raptor 350 takes practice... that's forsure.. i can bring mine up whenever i want... hell last week i came out of a corner fast in like 3rd.. hit the powerband( my quad is weird and has damn near a 2 stroke powerband when u hit it right) in 3rd gear at about 1/2 throttle it is just a rocket and will pull the front end about a foot off the ground and i can just hammer the gas and cat walk it up to 6th

Honestly just 1 tooth isnt gonna make a feelable diff, if you want more quickness out of a raptor and dont wanna shift alot, get a slip on exaust (mines yoshi trc comp) a new airfilter (mines uni) get your bkie re-jetted, and add a bigger front sprocket ( stock on my 2005 is 13 teeth i put in a 17 tooth). thats really the only way to get a noticable performance result with out shifting alot.
P.S. top speed on stock raptor 64 mph, mine about 75 almost 80.
