i sold my blaster to my friend and then the next weekend we went riding. my friend was goin threw water and it dropped off really quick, and it was up to the seat and the bike stalled out. last time it did this i tiped it back up on end pulled the plug, cracked it a lil bit, put the plug back in and pulled it around in gear untill it would run on its own. we did all taht this time, but now it runs at idel and if u pull it with another bike it will run and then i unhook the cable as im bein pulled it will run but anything more than 1/4 throttle or whenever it feels like it it bogs down and u can pull the clutch in and feather the gas to pick the rpms up, but once its back in gear it wont stay runnin, its like u shut the ignition off and it costs to a stop, but ever 1 out of 8 times it will pick back up and go for a min or 2. doesnt matter what gear. sometimes it will rev up normal at idel sometimes u need to rev it very slowly, other times u need to fether it. im goin over in about 45min to his house adn im gonna try sprayin eaither down the intake while i rev it to see if its gettin enough fule or not. could it be spark related? what is in the ignition that i would need to look at. it has sat since last sunday so i figured all the water woudl have dried out of it. if not im gonna have to pull the carb and see if theres any crap in it. he said he started it up today after it sittin for a week and took a few kicks with the chock on ( its in the 50s here in nj ) and then he took the chock off let it idel some more, and it was still doin the same thing. it ran for like 20 min he said. im thinkin its some crap got stuck in the carb in a passage way or a jet... any imput is greatly appreciated
thanks

The fact that you run it after you suck water into is is scary enough... What it sounds like, is you've sucked water into the carb... and probably into your engine/oil... Whenever you get water in your air intake or exhaust... you need drain the oil before you run it again. It usually takes a few oil changes to get all of the water out... You also should check the and empty the carb out. You're just setting yourself up for failure if you run your engine with water in it...

i let it sit for a lil bit and i watched the eye and i didnt see any water setting in on top of the oil. we were out in the woods and had no oil to change. actualy its on the min line, so its not like its over full or anything. i was thinkin, when reeds go bad what does the bike act like> its a 2 stroke dont forget

Drain the tank and carb. Sounds to me like there is water in the fuel system. Since it is a 2 stroke, the only oil in it is the gearbox. Should not affect the way it runs. After you put new gas in it, add some additive that removes water in gas and you should be up and running. I have had snomobiles that have been underwater and all you have to do is pull plugs and turn motor over by pulling the start rope. Then drain the tank and carbs, refill with new gas and go riding. If its oil injected, you can dump the oil in the resevoir. If there is water in there and it makes it to the oil pump, you can plan on a new piston.
