250cc chinese atv's
#1
hi all! i'm new to the fourms and i'm looking for some info on these chinese atv's. i'm thinking of buying a 250cc. i suppose this subject has been brought up alot but i'm hoping to get some honest un biased opnions.i already have a 03 warrior i'm just looking to get one of these so i have an extra machine for my girlfriend to ride and i don't want to spend alot of money.so i guess my question is do any of you have one of the 250cc models? and what do you think of it? how fast to they go? can an adult comfortably ride one? the one i'm looking at is a komoto brand and i can get it for $1200 hopefully that is a decent price for what it is. well any info would be greatly appreciated!

if shes not going to beat it you might be ok, i would recomend a 150 i have a redcat 150 and a kazuma 250 the red cat has more power, and has a better engine in it, so im not sure what motor is in a komoto, and how it is for getting parts. i think the kazuma 150 would be a better choice or a jetmoto 150 theres plenty of parts
and buy from a dealer with customer sevice

my kazuma 250 moves about about as fast as a pack mule, the redcat 150 has more *****, if youget a250dont get 1 with the cn 250 motor, i know i can change roller weights but im not putting any money into these, when there done im disposing of these, so thats why i suggested the the kazuma 150 wich you can also change roller weights and plus youget better suspension.
and yes they were raced side by side for a little ways redcat beat it off line and for a littlebit. plus theres less to go wrong with on the 150 motor ( liq cooling parts, hoses, radiator, fan........
