Since Can-Am doesn't make any 450's i figured this would be the best place for an unbiased vote. I am looking at stock for stock drag race between the 450 class (including outlaw) So the trx, yfz, ltr, and so on. My opinion is as follows. The yfz will pull it off if its just a drag, but since the LTR has EFI and is practically race ready off the showroom floor, It has my vote. I also heard you can do a simple 40 dollar mod to an LTR to kick the hp up a few like a cherry bomb or something. I read it in a magazine not to long ago. Not looking to stir up any trouble but has anyone rode both?

 

I have rode a yfz and a trx both, yes the yfz IMO will out drag or out ride the others. I have not yet rode an LT-R, but have raced one up Sand MountainUT, I had him beat until about half way up, then my tired DS got out ran.
