Default Aluminum Air Box ?

the seat is very close to the top of the airbox, stock or aftermarket.
the highest flow to be had using stock airbox is achieved by going lidless in conjunction with removal of the snorkel tubes in the front, leaving the holes open, this gives more flow than being lidless alone.
that means that any aftermarket airbox that does not have holes in the front most likely cannot flow as much as a stock airbox that is lidless and snorkeless.

IMO there is not much point at all in any aftermarket airbox unless it also includes the feature of relocating the battery under the seat like the one Johnnyairtime has a bunch of posts about, and even here the benefit is not performance at all but rather cosmetics and battery and electronics protection.
