going to be buying the Bi/Tri claw tires for a grizzley in 27/9.75/10 fronts and 27/12/10 rears on ITP series 5 or 7 wheels not sure yet,

now do these wheels need to have any specific offset to keep from rubbing or hitting anything? does it have enough clearance so the fronts or backs wont hit the fenders, and also how about when turning, will they hit anywhere?

i ride with a guy who has 27X12 and 27X10 and has never had an issue with rubbing. You will however need to keep a close eye on bearingc and cvs they go alot quicker with that large a tire.

They will fit on a stock rim no offset is needed. The cv joints and ball joints will ware faster like 18inches said but how fast well are you going in the mud every day or sand or water or rocks???? If your rip one of the cv boots and water and dirt gets into the cv joint it will last about 100 miles before it get slop in the joint. To check a ball joint jack the bike up put a bar under the tire and lift it up and down and see if they is any play in the ball joint. E-bay sells the cv joints you can check that out to see what they are selling for the prices changes each day.

alright. i decided im just going to go with the 26" executioners vs worrying about the 27" going out fast. water once twice a week, just puddles going though. mud maybe twice a month if that, rocks wont be anything big and no sand

I got a 2006 Gizzly 660 with 2300 miles on it. I run 27/10/12 BearClaws in the front and 27/12/12 BearClaws in the back . I never had a problem with anything. I just went through my bike this winter from front to back and all is fine.
