I run 25" ITP Holeshot ATR's and there is lots of room, but it will depend on the rims you are using. My rims are ITP 12X7", and they have several inches more offset than stock, so that helps get the tire away from the frame. Plenty of room around the plastic as well.

Good time to upgrade to some lighter rims! Nice thing about my rims is that it makes the quad several inches wider for a nice increase in cornering stability.

So, this info probably doesn't help you much, huh.

Are you using a lift kit for your itp 12x7 wheels , How do they work on the rear ? any clearance issues?Beings stock wheel & tire size is 24x10x11 ? What exact size tires on the ft. ? rear ? Thanks Dave.

Default 01 rancher tire size ?

I just went to 25x8x12 and 25x10x11 on my 03 Rancher with stock rims just tonight. Everything appears fine to me on the initial ride.

Went with Kenda Bearclaws... they are so smooth on concrete compared to the Dirt Hooks plus have taken a lot of the bounce out of the Rancher. The down side.. wasn't able to break it loose for power slides on the grass tonight.

No lift kit (why make your quad tall and tippy?) and there is a foot of clearance in every direction around the tires. Again, the rims make a world of difference! 25X8-12 front and 25X10-12 rear.

I got them through rockymountainatv.com. Free shipping and I think in total, it was around $235.00.

The one thing to keep in mind about the bear claws is that they run small. The 25s measure about 24.2 - 24.3" tall. So, they are the same size as the stock Dirt Hooks. The 25x10x11 rears came from rockymountainatv and UPS weighed them 20lbs a peice. I think the 25x8x12 were around 18 lbs a peice..

Hope that helps you. Let me know if you have any questions.
