Hey Guys,
Im new to the 2 stroke world now that I have a 04 Banshee. Whenever I start it up after sitting for more than a couple days it smokes (blue) for a few minutes till it warms up and then its alright. I dont remember it doing this when I first bought it. I had it jetted by Yamaha dealer so I know its not that. Im mixing 32:1 ratio. Is this normal for Banshees? All help is much appreciated in advance.

All two strokes smoke like that.

 

check the compression when cold and also warmed up.

 

I wouldn't worry about it. That's the way 2 strokes run when they're cold. ........and just because a dealer jetted it doesn't mean it's right. lol

 

My 03 smokes the same way but clears up after about 5 minutes of running.
