Should I Buy A Rhino ????????
#1
I am looking at the Rhino 660 for my next toy. I want to hear the problems other people have had first. No sales pitches please just honest problems that you or a friend may have had. After a few hours did it leak, rattle, get hot, belt slip, leave you stranded, spit spudder, etc. How deep of water will it handle (without problems). How tippy is it on the sides of steeper hills? No Yamaha praise just honest answers cause this is $9000 on the line here. Thanks.

I've never owned or ridden one but if you want my two cents.......I think it would be like riding in a big golf cart. They seem to me like they would be REALLY top heavy and tipsy. It is however a 660 so I imagine that its the same motor set up as the Grizzly. I have a Grizzly and they can handle water up to knee deep without any problems. Personally I'd rather have something that I can "straddle" and have more control over. If you want something to haul grandchildren around the yard in I'd just buy a $1000 golf cart and be done with it.

I've driven a Polaris Ranger last year and a Rhino last week at an event sponsored by Yamaha specifically for the Rhino. It's an excellent performing machine and a ton of fun. I can't help you with the reliability. I contemplated a Rhino or a 700 Griz and went with the Griz because the Rhino won't fit on some of the trails by me due to the width, and the state parks in PA don't allow them. I would buy one if I had a place to ride. Good luck!

That machine is insane tough as hell and is built like a tank. I have one of the Huevos videos that they took one and jumped it over 60 ft. My friend has one and loves it we have rode all over the place and not one time has it quit or done anything stupid. I would say that yanaha needs to put bigger tires on the beast
They also trun just as sharp as a reg quad with tons of pickup. I would never buy one myself because I like the one person style bikes but they are fun if you are into that kind of buggy

Go here to see a wild video of a rhino pulling wheelies and that will prove they are more then a golf cart

yep... just add a lift kit... 28" mudzillas and a cdi from a grizzly 660... It'll go thru just about anything... They're barely wider than your big bore quads... and a lot of fun... The cool thing is, you can have a stereo system goin... a couple of jump seats in the back... and extra lights on top...
