hi all i need some help here. what year was the blaster a limey green? an atv dealer in my town has one. they seem to think it's a 97 and for some reason i do not.they want $1000 for it. i'm thinking of buying it but it would be nice to what year it is for sure so maybe i can get em down on the price. 1000 seems kinda steep for an old blaster that looks like it's been beat hard most of it's life. so yea can any of you blaster guys answer this?

 

I don't recall them ever being a lime green (like a kawasaki green?).

Since the plastics could have easily been changed over the years, i'd write down the serial number from the frame or engine, and call a yamaha dealer to get them to look it up, and find out for sure what year it is.
