Default bottom end noise

Ok this is my first ds, and my second posting on the quad.
Not sure there is a problem at all, just not used to the noises a ds motor should make....
I can hear a slight , rubbing, noise from the bottom end on the right side. Where the chain drive is....
Cant hear it while rideing, onlly at idleing, and not at all when on the bike and helmet is on.
Only when standing beside the bike, with helmet off...
Is this normal noises for the motor,,, any other weird noises I shouldnt worry about....

By the way, love this quad,,, great for doing wheelies....
chow and thanks,

Its hard to explain... comeing from the area where the front sprocket is on the motor,,, makes noise when idleing...
Sounds like metal lightling rubbing on metal,,, not real drastic,,, Not a grinding noise,,, or banging,,,
Probably nothing , but not sure,,,
Do they make some botttom end noise,,,
thanks

I have not heard anything like metal on metal, to any degree when it is ideling. Maybe someone else can help if I am missing something, but I cannot imagine that this is a good thing...

Its not a loud grinding noise, I say metal on metal, but its more like a light rubbing noise.
The quad only has one years use on it...
Do you guys get any bottom end noise from the right hand side of the motor,,, brake side...
thanks mike

chain roller hey... how would I check that... Like I said earlier. It doesnt sound like a bearing or anything like that. Just a rubing noise ... maybe its normal. My friends say I listen to engine sounds way too much...I am always listening to my harley engine,,, and wondering what the heck is that noise... (its a harley,,, lots of noises, enough said about that motor)...Same as my truck... but sometimes it pays off when you pay attentin to the noises....

prop ur rear tires up off the ground, watch ur chain, roll the rear tires and watch ur chain, up front towards the front sprocket is the chain roller, looks like a skateboard wheel, ur chain will be hittin off that and that rolling will make a noise (chain against the hardened plastic), plus ur chain might be loose, check that while u got ur rear end up off the ground, to much play in the chain will result in a massive hit against ur chain roller, making a lot of noise
