Keep in mind that I ride the arid southwest, so mud isn't a factor in that equation.
Also, rim choice is just as important as tire choice! A narrow rim will profile your tires tall and skinny, where a wide one will make them wide and lower. I like wider rims that have a greater offset than stock, so it widens may machine a few inches, for improved stability..........
