My bike is missing and cutting out when it hits around 3/4 throttle im not sure if its lean or hitting the rev limiter or is this another problem? Doesnt matter how fast im going its just when I hit around that 3/4 throttle spot. Any ideas what the problem is? Its an 04.

 

And i forgot to mention the engine is stock.

 

Maybe take a look at your air filter and see if it needs to be cleaned.
Check your spark plug as well.............[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Mine was very slight before i put a slip on exhaust on, then it was really noticable. Try turning your idle rate up. It helped mine.

 

I've had that problem on my 04 yfz as well... unfortunately... I don't remember what it was exactly... I can see it in my head... but it's fuzzy. It was a black plastic piece that had come loose, or wasn't screwed in right... Sorry I can't be of much help...

 

I ride an 05 yfz450se and I had this problem, all I did was change the plug and it hasn't happened since. If you have already changed the plug and it is still stalling then you may be running to lean.
