I want wheelie pwr out of my Sportsman ???
#1
OK, so,,, How can I get my 500 EFI Sportsman to wheelie on command? It use to do ok when I had the stock tires on, but since I put the ITPs on I need a hill or rock or passenger to get it to wheelie. The tires hook up good, it's just the torque going to the wheels... Cluch kit? It has a K&N on it.... Let me know what you think, I'll send pics/movs if it works. Eh!

You hit the nail on the head with the clutch kit... I would suggest the Heelclicker clutch kit. Head on over to atvquadsquad. com to talk to Cob... he will give you a deal on the Heelclicker. Everyone that owns one seems very pleased with it. If my dad would let me get a clutch kit for my 500, I would be buying a Heelclicker. Welcome to the forums.

Will the heelclicker kit work well with a stock engine? Does engine braking still work? I would like to know more about this.

Yes it will work great with a stock engine and yes the EBS will still work. Go to www.atvquadsquad.com and you can learn alot about the kit.

A cheaper and faster solution is a new muffler, try supertrapp or whitebros, this should give you an extra 3-4hp and they are a 10min install.

After visiting quadsquad & then heelclicker, I think that I want one. I will have to buy the newer clutch cover & pull out my file. Nevertheless, it's gonna happen in the near future. Thanks for the info!

Either get rid of the ebs or put the 800 primary on it and you also get a huge takeoff advantage. I out the 800 ebs primary on mine and it helped alot. Add that with a clutch kit and it would make a huge difference
