Tire size

What is the stock tire size for a 1992 Yamaha Big Bear? Would I just be better off buying a tire/wheel combo? I'm not sure if I want to put tires on it for the time being untill I get a new atv or if I should wait untill I buy a new one? Are all atvs the same bolt patter or are they like cars and are different? Are all yamahas the same?

I think the stock tires are 25's on 12 inch wheels (I think) , 8 inch wide on the front, and 12 inch wide on the rear. I could be wrong.
There's quite a few different bolt patterns out there for quads, but most yamaha utes will be the same between different models. There's different ways to look up what your lug pattern is, and what the others are. Also take note that the front and the rear may not be the same. I don't know about the utes, but on most sports the front pattern is spread out bigger than the rear.
But if you're planning on trading in the big bear, and don't know for sure what you're getting, i'd suggest holding off on the wheels/tires until you know for sure what you're getting. And if you get a bigger, more powerful quad, you might want to get tires that are an inch or two taller for extra ground clearance and traction, but with that little 350 pushing so much weight around, you wouldn't want to go any taller than you absolutely have to.
