Default Mud Lite SP????

regardless of what itp claims, anything bearing the mudlite name is going to be a very quick wearing tire. I've seen honda recons wear a set of mudlites down to the nubs in less than half a year, even with slightly better tread life as they claim, i don't see these things lasting a full year on a sport quad unless you don't ride hard.

I just ordered a set of rear tires for my Warrior, for winter, mud, and trail riding. I got a pair of 22" Interco Swamp-Lites for $120, and free shipping on mudthrowers.com. If you're looking for a tire for mud, you don't want a 20" anyways. More than anything, you need ground clearance to get sport quads through mud and rocks better.

Kenda Bear Claws, Maxxis Sur-traks, or GBC Dirt devils all come in 22" size, have good durable rubber compound, are fairly inexpensive, and do well on sport quads. I didn't get to try my swamplites yet, so I can't really vouch for them yet, but I think they're going to do great for an all-around tire. The main reason I bought them was to hopefully find something that does better in the snow.
