Kazuma Dingo 150 won't start
#1
On my dingo 150 I can short the start relay and crank but nothing happens from the start button? The brake switch is bypassed but still nothing. The diagram in the book is no help for troubleshooting this circuit. Can one of you please give me a heads up? Thank You.

I removed the brake switch the day of assembly. They certainly have a purpose but not for my application. The problem I have is the book diagrams are poor schematics for troubleshooting. I think a wire is open somewhere in the start circuit but tracing is a problem. Kazuma sent me the same drawing that is in the manual and that just is not what I call a schematic. May just have to remove some cowling and trace the old fashioned way. thanks for your input.

jhf,
If you can get it to crank by shorting the relay ( I'm guessing you mean by jumping the terminals) that thing acts basically like a solenoid switch. Then that is the bad part I think.
