drill the wheel or get a new hub

i wanted to know if it would just be easier to change the hubs on my ds to a honda or yamaha
than to drill the wheel in the long run.

Ive seen alot of hubs done and your hubs one have to be done once. The tips of the DS hubs have to come off to run 8" wheels
