I see lots of information for the earlier years, but what size can I get away with putting on my 06 wolverine that is stock for now?

I am torn between holeshot tires or Mudlite I want a tire that I can zip around with and do donuts etc... but I also want to be able to go through the mud and keep up with the rest of my 4x4 buddies.

Will 26" be to tall? I dont see any body lifts available anywhere for it.

 

I dont know about a 26. I think that may be a little much for the wolverine, i mean its got some pep to it, but adding 3 inches may take all the low end power away from the wolvy. I bet you could get away with a 24 but thats as big as I would go.

 

You can look at my web site and pic here. I have AT Hole Shot tires on mine 25's and I have also put the 26 maxxis big horn tires on it no problems at all. It will take away from the low end for sure it will be fine if you mod the bike a little like jet kit and exhaust system also open the air box up then she has tons of power with the big tires. I like the 25 the best I can spin them up real nice. The rear rim on the wolverine are deep dish and it will put stress on the bearings and seals if you go to big that is why i like the 25's the best.

 

i was thinking of getting some itp TerraCross 25/8-12s do you think that would be alright for trail riding? i was also thinking of getting some itp ss alloy wheels? good or not?
