Default Replacing inner rear CV boot on 06 700

We were out for about 10 minutes when I noticed the left rear inner boot was torn. Any advice on how to replace this would be greatly appreciated.

You can leave the joint in or take it out. There is a snap ring inside the joint. You have to spread it apart and pull the shaft out of the joint. Put on the new boot and put the shaft back in. The snap ring will open on its on when you put the shaft back in because the shaft is tapered. Once you get the shaft back in the joint (make sure the snap ring is closed) put the boot on the joint and you are done. You will have to take the hub and wheel and all off and it makes it easier to take the sway bar loose from the a-arm so you can keep the shaft straight. Putting it in at an angle can be tough
