What the !@$%$% is wrong with Polaris
#1
My father in law just bought the 06 450 sportsman, I was checking it over and discovered it still has that cheap squeeze clamp on the crankcase vent hose. I lost an engine due to this on my 04 600 miles and I know two other guys with the same problem . You would think for the price of a gear clamp they would do it from the factory. If you have a Polaris or any brand for that matter because I also seen it happen to a Honda check this out and change it. On the Polaris there are 3 rubber hoses coming out of the crank case. Two have gear clamps on them, they are fine. One has a cheap squeeze clamp on it....CHANGE THIS TO A GEAR CLAMP !!!! Do this please, what happen is the squeeze clamp can get pulled off by a branch or twig and then your bottom end will fill up with what ever your driving in mud water . It is so easy to prevent
