suzuki R450

Yeah that's a good deal. I paid $6199 for mine about a month ago. It had a major engine failure and has been in the shop for almost 2 weeks now. So far I'm not impressed with suzuki's customer service. They had to get some of my parts shipped from canada.

Engine just started running terrible, backfiring, no power, maybe 2 hours on it. They say a piece of the piston broke off and was hitting the spark plug. It's supposed to be ready tomorrow--but we'll see. I hope to find out more and maybe get some pics of the bad parts.

Pic of piston
Finally got it back--still doesn't run right. I haven't gotten it out to the desert to know for sure, but I suspect it's going back to a different dealer for repair. Steer clear of LA Cycle Sports if you want any customer service!

I was at the dealer today, and the Suzuki was discounted $1,000 cheaper than any other 450. Maybe they aren't moving, so they have to discount them????? A lot of folks probably regard this as a "track" quad that's to wide for the trail, and just pass it over..........
I love my 450R, but I only ride it in the desert not woods trails. There, I ride the 400EX or Rancher.
