I will be out shopping 4 a new quad this weekend and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. How much over msrp should i be paying. Unsure the raptor 700 or honda 450r ect. so many choices. I would of bought 1 today never realized how complicated it would be. The guys at chaprarel didnt know much and the prices were not fair. Not sure if theres a such thing but an honest and informed dealer would make my christmas alot better. All input is welcome and thanks 4 ur time.

I like HYR (Honda/Yamaha of Redlands). Their service department has proven to be outstanding! They will usually knock off setup and such from the price, and if you are buying 4 you should be able to cut a pretty good deal. But, this is the prime part of the riding season, so I don't think you are going to find any super deals anywhere.

As for the 450R vs Raptor issue: the Honda has by far the better chassis, but the Yamaha has the more thrilling motor. (the Honda revs, and the Yamaha torques).
