Ever had one of those weeks! Me and kids have a trip planned to Glamis this weekend, So I ordered parts over a month ago to be able to have the quads up and running well!, Just found out the Mojave pipe I was promised last Friday wont be in till next week, the fourtrax I just got done doing the topend, Honda sent me the wrong head gasket, 4 days to get a new one, plus the place we got the sand Front tires screwed up one off the rims and tires, and wont have another one till Friday, Oh the custom trailer im having done was to be done last weekend, the wielder says he needs another week, because of personal reasons, and now they are saying the DS wont be done till Friday, they got tied up in races all weekend long so there running behind. What has happen to customer service?? we wonder why product is gone to china? If I didn't call customers that when we run late and just shipped it out when we were done I wouldn't have any customers left, "say what you do and do what you say" its not a motto, its a lifestyle! I'm venting the kids are excited and I am looking forward to breaking in the 720 kit and next week is X mass, and Glamis is Fricken nuts around the 1st Jan

 

Just found out what going on with the exhaust pipe, The MFG did not want to build any more so they were having some returned with other items from Tucker Rocky that was over a month ago and still no return, I called Tucker Rocky said yes we have 4 in stock GRRRRRRR I asked could the vender request to 1 shipped back for store credit, they said yes, I then called the MFG of the exhaust system and said here's my Fed X number ship it! Its amazing what you have to do to get things moving! Its like common sense is out the window!

Here is the deal with me, I am having a brand new technology being built in the form of a rigid chassis. It is meant for Planet Sand. I told the chassis builder I need the chassis done February 1. I told him I had to have it ready to run at the Clash of the titans in March bar none!

If it is done by the deadline, no problem. I will use it at the clash to help some boys out with their perspective of fast. If it isn't done, no problem. I will simply skip the Clash and have 30 days of cushion for the important race.

I do it with my sub-contractors all the time. I give false deadlines simply so I can afford to give thim a little grace. They still get done on time and I get to be a nice guy and offer some flexiblity at the same time.
