Default Got two Jetmoto's coming for Christmas, what to do now?

Newbie here, but I've spent quite a bit of time on this forum and others. Bought two Jetmoto's from Raceway, primarily because of the fine reputation of John's service of these off brand quads. I bought a Jetmoto 110 for my son, and Jetmoto 125 for my daughter. They were due to ship out either yesterday or today...
So now that they're on the way, can anyone offer up a list of setup tips?

This is what I've gathered so far....
1. Tighten (locktight) all the bolts...
2. Seal all electrical connections with liquid electrical tape... Are there a bunch of these?
3. Change oil?? (right away or after a few minutes/hours of run time?? what to use?)
4. Clean the carb??
5. I've read something about a cardboard shield in the intake? what's that about??
6. Do these have grease fittings on them? Should I drill/tap/install if not? (rear axle housing??)
7. Both of these are 4 sp auto's... do you have to worry about water getting into the gearboxes or is that only with the CVT tranny's?

I don't mind wrenching on anything, and am pretty good around engines ( I tend to like old pushrod V8's though!) Just looking for setup tips so my kids aren't disappointed in Santa this year!
Thanks!
ed

Sounds like you have it covered. Dont forget to charge the battery the first thing. Change the oil with a non detergent wet clutch oil like motorcycle oil. 10w30, 15w40. I would change the stock air filter with a clamp on K&N with outerwears or something similar. You can go direct to the K&N site and order from the universal filters section. All you have to do is measure the size of the carb flange and about how much space you have and look for a filter that will work. You made a good choice with Raceway and JetMoto.
