I have a 2000 scrambler 500. stock pipe and no air box mod's..I was woundering what the stock size main jet is in the carb. AND... has anyone ever ran a smaller main jet in this machine?? I was told stock they run alittle rich, I was thinking of going down 1-2 sizes??
Will I even notice a difference?? If any one has done this or has any info on this please get back to me..just thought I'd ask rather be safe than sorry!

wow i think your the first person EVER that i have seen that wants to jet down, or de-tune your scrammy. why is this>? for just as much effort, you could mod your airbox, carb, and/or, exhuast, and get more power out of it. what are you going after here?

155 is stock on the H.O. 500s. I can only assume it's the same on the non-H.O. too.

 

scramblerxrated..your wright. the only thing I was trying to do is lean it out alittle. But like you said there are better and easier way's to do this rather than jetting down. Thanks.
