I have nothing but problems since the Polaris ads are running at the top of page, slows everything, am I the only one with problems?
Put 'um on the Polaris thread, it's doing nothing but running people off to other forums, if we wanted a Polaris, we know where to get one, LOL

You must be on dial-up.

The sad fact is that pages like these can only survive by selling ad space - unless you could get all members to pony up some significant $$$ the ads will always be there.

Look into upgrading your server. I had dial-up for years and waited and waited for pages to load. Videos were not possible as the program would time out before it could load. Switched over to cable modem for about the same money - pages that used to take two minutes or more to load are now there in under a second. A five minute video may take 2 to 3 seconds to download. Big difference. At that speed, the ads are no problem.

If you use Firefox, just get the ad/image blocker

Check out the link below

Ad Block

" Right-click on a banner and choose "Adblock" from the context menu - the banner won't be downloaded again"

I just downloaded Adblock and it works great. The P-word ads are completely gone. Thanks for the link...

Polaris must be in trouble, first with their phony 'Duel Challenge', and now with these irritating ads just before Christmas.
