Default can i clear 25s?

well, i have a honda recon which is a smaller quad.....i've been told from someone who has a recon that they fit 25s.....im not sure about that though....i believe they'll fit in the back but if i put 25s on the front, will i have problems turning with rubbing? i didnt buy 25s, i just bought 22x11x9s mudlits for now but i love how big 25s are and how aggressive looking and riding htye are......do you think i can fit them? thanks...

The little Recon isn't exactly a powerhouse. You will be effectively raising the gearing (and lose low end power), the tires will be heavier, and you will raise the center of gravity (making it more tippy). I think all these will work against you.

If you want monster tires, you should probably move up to a bigger machine..........

Yep. It will also ride like crap, so you take the good with the bad. Here is a link to some pics of an 05 with 26s, I think... Go about halfway down page for the pics.

2005 Recon with larger tires

yeh...i just recieved my 22x11x9 mudlits from the ups man right now....the treads look like they're gonna be bad ****.....

my dads friend threw out a good point...its gonna tear up the transmission and bearings......i thought it'd turn them well in mud but from that link you gave me, it doesnt sound like 25s would do anygood for the atv at all....

all well....and trust me, i'd LOVE to upgrade which we will at the end of next summer to a lot bigger quad...cant wait but im doing what i can with what i got for now...
